You  got a call to go to a great party this weekend, but its not an ordinary party, it's a fancy dress party. So yo0u immediately start to think "what kind of fancy dress outfit should I wear? how much will I have to spend and where I am going to buy my outfit?  If the party has a fancy dress flavor, such as doctors and nurses, vicars and tarts etc. then this is going to be easy to drill down to your precise choice . . . but what if there is no theme?

For some hiring a costume is the best way if you do not have the time for the (D. I. Y) method. If you are on a tight budget you will be surprised how little some costumes can now be bought for so why hire when you can buy for a similar price and keep the costume for the future.

Do you paln on wearing it more that once, and what kind of impact would you like to create, or blend into the crowd or stop the show. If you are only wearing it once than you will be able to pick up fancy dress clothing to suit your needs for little cost if you look hard. If more than once then you might look into spending an extra little bit for piece of mind
